The NM Interfaith Dialogue will be meeting Thursday, July 18th, 5:30-7:00 pm at Congregation Albert, located at 3800 Louisiana Boulevard, one block south of Montgomery, on the east side of Louisiana Boulevard. Their sign can be seen directly across from Cleveland Middle School. Congregation Albert has off-street parking on both the North and the East sides of the building. The main entrance is located on the North side under that words “Dirshuni Vich’yu” written in Hebrew letters. If you need further assistance finding the location, please call the Main Office at (505) 883-1818. Our topic for the evening will be Scripture and Prayer part two.
We hope to address as many of the following questions as possible:
- Is scripture the literal word of G_d?
- What role does scripture play in your religion?
- Are writings other than scripture used in your religion?
- Are writings other than scripture important or inspirational to you personally? If so, are these writings necessarily related to your religion?
Come join us for a stimulating and thought- provoking dialogue!
The NM Interfaith Dialogue will be taking a break in August so THERE WILL NOT BE A DIALOGUE MEETING IN AUGUST! We will meet again on Sept. 19th at the Islamic Center of New Mexico. The topic will be, Scripture and Government.
Have an enjoyable and safe remainder of the summer!
