March Monthly Meeting 2025

The New Mexico Interfaith Dialogue will be having an in-person dialogue on Thursday March 20th, 7:00 to 8:30 pm, at The Cathedral of St. John, located at 318 Silver Ave, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Our speaker will be Rev. Erica Lea-Simka.  We look forward to an engaging dialogue about Labyrinths: Embodied Interfaith Prayers for Peace.

Rev. Erica Lea-Simka

Rev. Erica Lea-Simka [she/they] is a graduate of San Jacinto College, Texas A&M University, and Truett Theological Seminary. She has also studied as a continuing education student at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Eastern Mennonite University, and Hebrew College. Pastor Erica has served Baptist and Mennonite congregations, most recently as Pastor of Albuquerque Mennonite Church November 2017- February 2025. They currently serve as The Journey Project (Thriving Churches Initiative) Grant Director for the New Mexico Conference of Churches. She also serves on the staff of Mennonite Women USA as the Southwest Representative.  She can often be found using the expression, “go team”, because she believes all people are created in God’s image and have something positive to contribute to the community and world. Outside of work, Erica can be found perfecting plant-based recipes, visiting the public library with her child, nature-walking, watching British mysteries, snuggling with her 2 rescue pups, and spending time with her interfaith family.
